Senior .Net / WPF UI developer

Flat Rock Technology is a full-service software development company specializing in building web based, desktop and mobile applications.

Our team is seeking to employ a full-time Senior .NET/WPF UI Developer to support and develop internal and client applications and Add-Ins.

The ideal candidate will have:
2+ years of experience in UI development for .NET applications.
2+ years of experience with .Net Framework and C#.

Requirements:
- Strong C# WPF development skills and understanding of XAML
- Layout techniques:
- Basic layout containers
- Grid versus StackPanel
- Styling techniques:
- organizing a big number of styles
- style re-usability
- Control templates
- Custom controls:
- when to implement
- general implementation techniques
- Handling user input:
- keyboard handling
- mouse handling
- User controls
- WPF code re-usability techniques:
- Behaviors
- Developing asynchronous code with WPF
- WPF performance optimization

Advantages:
- Experience working with custom UI controls
- Awareness of UI/UX design principles and practices
- Excellent coding skill in .Net Framework and C#
- Experience working with Git
- Experience in test automation and test-driven development (TDD practices)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development cycle
- Excellent written and spoken English

Main Responsibilities:
- Implements project modules/solution components according to the project requirements
- Follows the instructions of and report to his/her Team Leader
- Follows the project/company standards and team working procedures
- Participates in Quality Assurance activities such as design and code reviews, unit and integration testing, etc.
