Senior Java Developer

Role
As Java Developer you will be part of a talented software team; will design and build new components and/or features, create automated tests, and make sure the software lives up to our quality standards.
Job Responsibilities:

Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle;
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable Java code;
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems;
Recommend changes to improve established java application processes;
Ensure continuous professional self-development.

Skills and competencies required:

Experience in Java back-end development (Java 8 and higher, Spring Core) at least 6 years;
Experience with relational JDBC, PostgreSQL, Vertx, Liquibase, Redis, Kubernetes, Docker, Maven REST, GRPC, MQTT;
Strong mindset for testing: Rest Assured, Junit 4/5, Mockito, TestContainers.
Comfortable with Git;
Good to have: GCP knowledge, HSQL, Spring Boot/Security, Websockets
Agile enthusiast;
Good spoken and written English is required;
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other related fields is good to have;
Ability to openly present her/his ideas;
Independent and highly self-motivated with a strong customer focus;
Able to work both independently and as part of a team;
Action and results orientated, ability to manage multiple priorities is also expected;
Proactive and flexible approach with a resilient and results-orientated nature.

Qualifications/Key Skills

Bachelor degree in computer science;
Languages: Advanced English.
