GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
MIR Solutions Group - an e-commerce retailer company based in Brooklyn NY is looking for a motivated individual to fill the Product Research Specialist position for its Amazon Marketplace Sales Channel. As a Product Research Specialist, you will be responsible for Researching new products on amazon.com sourced from our vendor catalog file, verifying product identity and profitability, based on our standards.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research product from Vendor Catalog on Amazon.com
- Identify All possible matches for the product and verify their validity
- Calculate product profitability based on company’s standards
- Compile a list of profitable products
- Suggest purchasing quantities for profitable items based on given parameters
- Relay any issues with Vendor file such as insufficient discount, unpopular catalog items, et cetera

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
- Previous experience with Amazon Seller Central is preferred
- Excellent computer skills
- Experience working as a purchasing assistant in the industry is preferred
- Good understanding of popular products in the industry
- Strong knowledge of industry market trends and conditions
- Excellent interpersonal and social skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Positive and professional demeanor
