Navision/BC Developer

We are looking for new enthusiastic new colleagues to join our client's Solution Development team in the role of NAV/BC Developer. As NAV/BC Developer you are assigned to one of the NAV/BC Developer Teams and responsible for building and maintaining a functional and stable platform, as well as for contributing to the development of various applications that their customers use to access their products. You will be part of a no-nonsense environment where flexibility is central.
Main activities:

Developing and maintaining multiple in-house applications in Business Central


Develop new features or processes based on provided analysis
Adjust current features or processes based on change requests
Document your changes and time spent in the provided tools


Provide technical support (3rd line) for the assigned applications


Understand the functional processes
Debug scenarios provided by 2nd line support to find a problem
Document and report the problem in the provided tools


Investigate and solve software bugs
Investigate and solve performance issues
Provide lean and practical solutions
Build up a knowledge base
Optimize procedures
Assist with ongoing migrations between different versions
Understand the company structure, and mentality and apply its philosophy
Provide stand-by support after office hours for migrations
Create hands-on technical analysis of functional requirements
Optimize or write new code (C/AL & AL) in a wide range of Microsoft Dynamics/Navision
versions (NAV2009/2016/2018 & Business Central)
Use Azure DevOps to maintain, follow up builds & unit tests and publish your code

You have a Bachelor/Master degree in computer science or equal by experience
You have relevant experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Business Central
You have a strong analytical mind-set and are a practical thinker
You are a fast learner
You are fluent in spoken and written English
